Corfu offers a number of things to do and activities from walking and hiking to sailing and golfing. When walking biking or driving in inland Corfu you will discover the real Corfu. Villagers sitting chatting outside door steps or having a coffee at the local kafeneion. Corfu sailing diving or golfing can also provide an exciting holiday experience and a lively vacation.

Corfu walking and hiking - Walking and hiking in Corfu maybe the best way to see the beautiful rich Corfu nature. Discover the stunning views of Mount Pantokrator above Benitses village either with local guidance or on your own. Maps and routes provided.

Bikes - A great way to both Corfu and get exercise is biking. Corfu cycle bike hire can be arranged at the hotel along with Corfu maps and Corfu biking itineraries. Two types of bicycles are rented: Tour bikes: 24 gears, in 6 sizes (ladies 51 and 57 cm, man 54, 57, 61 and 65 cm). Mountain bikes, 24 gears, unisex in 4 sizes (18", 19,5", 21" and 22,5"). Corfu One Day Cruises - Corfu one ( 1 ) same day boat trips departing from Benitses harbour to Corfu and Parga beaches. Many things to see during the one same day cruises to crystal clear Corfu beaches, sightseeing and swimming while the captains’ wife prepares typical Greek lunch. Corfu dancing - Greek night events consist of food at taverns with live music where Greek and Corfu dancing is performed by folklore groups all dressed up in traditional costumes. Underwater cruise - " Corfu Sea Discovery " has been developed in Corfu since 2008. Chrystal clear waters, wonderful caves and fascinating sea life viewed through 22 undersea windows. During the 50 minute cruise you will entice the fish by feeding them and that will bring myriad of colourful fish jellyfish close to the windows. Also you can relax on the deck, get lovely sunshine and take lots of photos of the wild rocky scenery of Paleokastritsa. The tour suits all ages! Prices from adult 14 Euro Children 8 Euro.

Paragliding - Parascending is an exciting way of seeing Benitses village and nearby places. Normally starting at Benitses from mid-June onwards. Bookings at Benitses beach 50 meters from the hotel.

Aqualand - Corfu water theme park is an exciting Corfu sea world park in the middle of the Island. Corfu Aqualand is one of the most amazing water adventure theme parks in Greece and Europe. Corfu visitors have many things to do and enjoy for a full day at the Giant Slides, the Multislide, Black Hole, Four Twisters, Crazy River, Lazy River amongst others for a great fun summer day out for the whole family of a group of friends. Corfu sailing - A number of private companies are offering approved sailing courses in Corfu and the Ionian Sea. Corfu and Ionian islands sea sailing cruising courses include Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Yacht master. Enquire at the hotels' reception for details or sent us an email for advance bookings. Pickups organized at Benitses newly built yachts marina.

Corfu Golf - Golfing is available at Corfu Golf Club at Ropa valley, just 30 minutes drive away from Benitses. The Corfu Golf course was designed by Donald Harradine and includes an 18 holes course. The Corfu golf course is one of the 19 greatest championship courses in Europe. The International Amateur Golf Championship and Corfu Golf Spring Festival takes place during May. Green fees and tee times at Corfu Golf Club can be reserved in advance. Enquire within for details.

Scuba Diving - Diving in Corfu provides many surprises for both new divers as well as experienced ones. The coastline around Corfu is rich with sea life and interesting artifacts that make for some great dives and excellent photos. Water sports are easily arranged and there are scuba - diving facilities in Corfu for beginners and more experienced divers. More information from hotels' reception.

Corfu Tennis - Tennis is another of the many outdoor activities available on Corfu. Tennis courts can be booked at various locations however we recommend the tennis court in a nearby hotel. Enquire at reception for reserving the tennis court.

Calypso Star Boat trips

Calypso Star is a specially constructed boat for undersea cruises. With its 18 m length and 5.5 m width, it can comfortably accommodate 50 passengers. With its large glass-bottom windows it gives everybody the opportunity to see things explore and enjoy the fascinating and intricate world beneath the sea, with the endless variety of fish and plants. Experienced divers, surrounded by fish, swim among them feeding them and show you some of the strangest forms of life of the sea. Then the Sea Lions with their trainers perform a unique show. You will see them swimming, diving, jumping and playing around. Calypso Star Glass Bottom is a winner especially with children.
